What is the difference between Freight and Shipping?
Both Freight and Shipping are the transportation of goods either by air, land or sea.
Although shipping and freight are both used to describe the bulk transportation of goods, Freight always refers to a larger quantity of goods while Shipping can refer to smaller amount. Freight denotes commercial purposes. The Shipping of goods can be done for either commercial or personal purposes. Shipping is generally considered to be more expensive than freight since it is cheaper to transport goods in bulk than in smaller amounts.
